Perhaps it’s because our senses have more to remember: the taste of the salty, crispy fries, the radio spilling over the speakers mixed with locals and travelers, the wafts of fish fry and gyros, and the sight of people coming together and enjoying a good meal.
My Husband and I had a lovely time eating dinner at Manypenny Bistro while we were staying at The Pilot House B & B. We loved that we could feel in our own little world while also being in the midst of this great restaurant environment of families, friends, adventurers, and locals, all coexisting in friendliness and enjoying good food. Our waitress was very kind and accommodating, our food came out fast, and I have to recommend the sweet potato fries. They were amazing! We know with certainty that when we come to visit and we’re thinking of places to eat in Bayfield WI, Manypenny Bistro will be one of our go-to spots.

“We were just in town for the weekend and had no idea where to eat. Randomly walked in Friday night and received excellent food and service! We enjoyed it so much we went back for breakfast the next morning! That time we sat on the porch where the ordering system is different and you order at the window instead of having a server. “This was our favorite place in Bayfield! It’s right off of the docks/bay for convenience if you’re just stopping in quick. They had sandwiches, a few groceries, drinks, etc. The breakfast panini was so good and made to order. Also much cheaper than anywhere else in town. The employees were really friendly. They’re closed on Wednesdays and open morning to afternoon other days. There are no tables inside, but there’s 3 on the side and 2 in front for outdoor seating. “The food at the Inn is delicious. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We started off with the Crostini and Moscato. For the main entree we ordered the Linguini Del Mar and Seared Duck and the food was exceptional. But the star of this dinner was the creme brûlée and we will definitely be back for the food. We were just disappointed that we were unable to book a room at the inn to get the entire experience and next time we’ll get book the room in advance to have the entire experience.
